Step 1
Pick your barbell of choice and put it on the rack.
Step 2
Position the barbell on the back of your shoulders and grasp the bar to the sides. Your knuckes should be facing forward.
Step 3
Remove the bar from the rack and squat down bending your hips back while letting your knees bend forward, keeping your back straight and knees and toes pointed in the same direction.
Step 4
Squat down until your knees and hips are fully bent.
