We use the most advanced lab testing available to determine your hormone levels and various health markers. Based on your lab results, your Genemedics Health Institute medical doctor will design a custom health program that will include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, a nutrition plan, a supplement program, exercise program and lifestyle changes.  Your Genemedics Health Institute medical doctor will closely supervise your health program including continuous testing of your hormone levels and health markers to ensure that you achieve and maintain hormone balance along with optimal health and wellness.

Lab Testing Options

Lab testing can be performed through saliva, blood or urine.  Genemedics Health Institute offers lab testing through either saliva and/or blood.

• Saliva Lab Testing:  Lab testing for hormone levels is most accurately measured through saliva because the hormone levels measured in saliva are unbound to protein and available for your body to use.  Other advantages of measuring hormones through saliva at-home lab testing are convenience and affordable cost.…READ MORE
• Blood Lab Testing:  Blood lab testing does not measure hormone levels as accurately as saliva hormone lab testing.  Blood lab-testing does measure many other labs (such as blood glucose, blood counts, PSA, among many others) very accurately.  Blood lab testing can be performed with the traditional blood draw with a larger needle in the vein or from a small finger prick.…READ MORE
  • Traditional blood draw:  This blood draw is usually performed at a blood draw center (such as Lab Corp or Quest) or at your doctor’s office.  Traditional blood draws often cause pain and the anxiety of this procedure can negatively alter hormone levels resulting in inaccurate lab results.  Although more expensive than blood spot lab testing and saliva testing, lab testing with traditional blood draws are often covered by insurance.
